The Tennessee Titans took a break from their offseason activities Thursday to help support a special cause: fighting childhood cancer.

The 9th Annual Rally on the Runway was once again held at the Marathon Music Works in Nashville, where the Rally Foundation hosted a special night dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research as well as for kids currently battling cancer or have fought cancer.

A handful of these "Rally Kids" were celebrated and escorted down the runway with Titans players, showing off their dance moves and handshakes.

Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons has attended the event for the last several years and hosted the event for the first time.

"You come in here with these kids and you see the smiles on their faces," says Simmons. "Knowing they are dealing with so much, it's bigger than the game of football. Their life is real hard right now, fighting cancer or have beaten cancer. This is an unbelievable thing we do with Rally."

Last year’s event raised more than $570,000 to fund critical childhood cancer research. For more information on the Rally Foundation click here.
