Smokies Power their Way Past Trash Pandas

The Tennessee Smokies went deep three times on Thursday night and beat the Rocket City Trash Pandas 6-2.

Tennessee (21-15) got a three-run home run by Moises Ballesteros (5) in the first inning. Haydn McGeary (3) hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning and Ezequiel Pagan (4) added a solo home run in the seventh.

Kyle McGowin (1-0) made his second start of the season for the Smokies and went six innings only allowing two runs. Chase Chaney (2-3) took the loss for the Trash Pandas (17-18).

The two teams will meet again for game four of the series on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
