The Scottsboro girls golf team posted a runner-up finish in Glencoe's Yellow Jacket Invitational at Silver Lakes Golf Course on Thursday.

"We made a pretty good showing in the tournament," said Scottsboro coach Ryan Jones. "We played some really good teams and stayed with all of them. I was very pleased with some things that took place in the tournament and disappointed with some others. Overall I was satisfied with the way we played but we also realized that we still have work to do to achieve our goals."
