I know he played for MTSU and was defensive player of the year in the conference a time or two. One tough linebacker and fullback in high school.

Dennis Mix was a great high school and college football player. He had over 2,000 yards rushing at least one year in H.S. Tough as nails, he was All-American at MTSU in the early 80's as a defensive end. I spoke with his father recently.....he said that Dennis was in the brick/masonry business in Nashville. Another, WC football legend.

Thanks Pioneers12. Sure wish he would come back and spend some time with our players! We lack toughness and that's what he was all about.
