Dang man, where you been? I don't know about that one incident (the $15 thousand and a car), but similar things have been going on for several years now. Only difference now is they don't seem to feel the need to hide it. Lawyers and Judges have ruined it all. College sports, and soon high school sports will be ruined. Eventually only schools with "deep pocket" support will be competitive. A Texas A&M quarterback was caught placing bets on games he was a part of and got dismissed from the team. A Texas judge ruled that he must be reinstated. So now, according to the court, it's legal for players to bet on games. If this doesn't get corrected, we won't have to worry about players getting paid.
