Maryville Middle School just completed a great season with a Smoky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship. Maryville beat Sevier County 40-12 to win the crown. I watched this team beat Alcoa 35-0. This may have been the best MMS team I ever seen.

 

Dylan Shinski is the best player on this team. Shinski reminds me of current Alcoa back Vee Hambrick or the Blanche brothers at Webb when they were Middle Schoolers. Shinski and current Rebel Freshman standout Shaun Prevo will make up a great backfield in a few years for MHS.

 

Other MMS standouts are Bryce Miller,Paul Bristol,Brant Sloan,Adam Early and Christopher Stevens. Maryville Rebel football has a bright future.
