New Directions to Lawrence County High from the east

Recently the Hwy 64 bypass from Pulaski and to the south of Lawrenceburg has been completed. The old way is much quicker to LCHS than following the bypass which would take you 3 miles south of town. Watch for the green state highway sign which says you are entering Lawrence County. From that sign you go 1 mile and turn right at the sign pointing to "New Prospect". Then go the way you always have or follow your GPS to 1800 Springer Road. (Which will take you the three miles into town to the first light, take a right, and LCHS is a mile on the right.)

If going to Loretto, follow the new bypass to Hwy 43. Turn left and it is about 10 miles.

That Exit needs to be marked better. I'm in Waynesboro (about 30 miles west of Lawrenceburg)and I have had at least 2 different persons stop and ask where is Lawrenceburg? I told them that they passed it 30 miles ago. Both times they had come off the new by pass and some how missed Lawrenceburg.
