I have been busy and out of the loop.  Here is a week one ranking to get us started:

1. Elizabethton - (AA) (2-0)-  Reloaded and ready to roll.

2. Happy Valley- (AA) (3-0)-  Could be a great year on Warrior Hill with Blankenship and Johnson.

3. Hampton- (A) (1-1)-  Loss is to Science Hill.  Guards are plentiful.  How are the posts?

4. Cloudland- (A) (2-1)-  Mull, Clark, Wilson, and company may move way up on the list!

5. Unicoi Co.- (AA) (0-1)-  Loss of Laughren hurts.  Still some good players on board.

6. Johnson Co.- (AA) (0-1)-  How far can Brown and Reece take them?

7. Unaka- (A) (2-2)- I know Ensor can play.  I need to see them play to make an informed prediction.

I would have to rather disagree with your poll for this week coachh. Happy Valley has defeated noone even close to worthy enough of being put in the # 2 spot. Tri-Cities Christian and David Crockett might win a total of 7 games combined this year if that. The loss of Laughren hurt Unicoi in more ways than imaginable.Probably one of the worst Unicoi teams I have seen take the floor in a while. I am making my assesment this week going on seeing all of these teams play already. Good luck to every one this year and may every team stay injury free.

1.Elizabethton

2.Cloudland

3.Hampton

4.Johnson County

5.Happy Valley

6.Unicoi

7.Unaka

we'll find out about HV on Friday when they host Hampton. HV is off and running while the Lady Dogs are struggling to overcome injuries.HV should win but one way or the other we'll find out if they are the real deal or not.

I like elizabethton's chances for a gold ball this year. Lady landers enter the post Rhodes era. Keep an eye on K. Mull this year. Much improved from last year

Did I say I liked elizabethton's chances for a gold ball this year? I'm generally not the kind of guy to say I told you so, but......I TOLD YOU SO LOL
