SweetScience
How will we be? I'm sure we wont be as good. We lose 2 great possible All State players in Henderson and Merian. Higgins is gonna be a star and Gee returns at the PG position as a JR. He is already good and will only get better. Who will be the 5 next year? Johnson? Does he have potential to be any good? Don't know much about him. We will be lacking size. Do we have any coming up from the Freshmen and JV squads? Can we make it back to the Boro in the next 3 years? Like 24-9, 13-3 in district. Prolly have to play away in sub state game. Lol. On a serious note, they will be down. You can't replace those guys in one season. The team will be as good as Gee is. Higgins is their most athletic returning player. He's talented but still will only be sophomore, he could be a Henderson type player before he's done. Johnson will be as good as any other teams in the district. If green stays they'll contend for title again. As for the district. It'll be very tough. AC, CC, central and Clinton have 4/5 of their lineups back. Powell loses Feilds, halls loses some solid bball players. Karns loses Sibley and a couple others. Gibbs was real young, and they can put it in the hole. I'd go out on a limb and say 11-5 gets u a piece of the championship. JMO.

Higgins should easily be D1. So OR has Gee, Mitchell, Higgins, an incredible shooter in freshman Deandre Gibson, freshman Anthony Gibson is a future star, and just maybe another big man not enrolled yet. Undefeated freshman team (only one game within 30 points). Next year, it will take a while, but they will be very good. The year after, state contenders. Gotta fix this double post thing. Any suggestions? Edited April 8, 2014 by OR nole

Any suggestions? Didn't say he wouldn't be as good as Henderson, said he could be that "type" of player. Could be great, we will just have to see how he works and how he develops. Also, with all that talent he may never get to be that guy, u know what I mean? They definately need a big man in that type of offense. Green loves running offense thru the post. Will still be best around here for several years to come.
OR nole
One thing is for sure, as long as Green is here, they will be exciting to watch. Great athletes in the pipeline for the 3-4 years (maybe longer).

SweetScience
I also think Higgins will be a lot better then Jaylin. Don't get me wrong Jaylin was great, but he really never did develop a really good jump shot. Basically was just a great slasher who was great at driving to the rim. I think Higgins has a chance to be in the mold of a Sibley. Slasher, but can also pull up from 20 feet and knock 'em down.
OR nole
Who was the real tall white kid on the freshmen team? Will he be any good?Ahh, the "diamond in the rough". Joey Kocak, I think he will be very good in time, but not in basketball. Just started playing football in the 8th grade and his football ceiling is very high. Just a reserve on the freshmen team, but is learning rapidly. He is about 6'5 220 as a freshman. I think as a junior he will get quality time. I like the thought of a 6'7, 270 offensive tackle or DE.
