Any progress reported? Now is the time they should be coming up with different scenarios of classes and regions/districts, letting each school know where they would fall in each type, and then getting feedback one school at a time. It's not rocket science.

Don't hold your breath Indian,(not to be a know it all...but) if you're not familiar with Roberts Rules, to table a motion can be a swift death to it...not always, but usually. If they had wanted to investigate as stated, a committee would've been formed to report back on an assigned date.

    TSSAA bylaws dictate that any issue properly submitted must be addressed, and the way that it was delt with isn't promising for a quick resolution...in order to take from the table a motion, some business pertaining to the motion must have been transacted, and until it has, the same motion cannot be made again (duplicated)...the "original" must be reconsidered.

   Lot's of red tape involved, but it can be used as an easy out to put aside a "hot topic" until the board wishes to address it...with no further pressure from the public.

I actually think the tssaa is doing a wise thing in forming a committee to investigate all sides of the issue. It may not be rocket science but this is a major shift in the prep landscape and nothing is worse than rushing a process.
