Hater247
I saw where CPA got a new player from Iowa. That's really expanding their school zone. Who else do they have coming in this year?

I believe he is an 8th grade point guard. Saw him at Belmont and Lipscomb camp, and he is a player. He pairs well with Blackwell.

It is somewhat amusing (unless you have to play against them)- in the good ole days Coach Maddux would pull from middle Tennessee (or maybe even Knoxville)- now to build the pipeline he had to go all the way to Cedar Rapids Iowa to get the current #1 PG in the class of 2019. But he is proud- he has already posted an Instagram of his new 8th grade sensation PG (Tyger Campbell) throwing an alley oop to Braxton Blackwell. Nothing like drawing attention to the latest CPA Lion to arrive on campus.

ecu
RIDICULOUS!!!! Another reason why this split needs to happen now, not 3 more years of this.
chickhot2
Seems to me everyone should quit whining. Coaches in the area need to study coach maddux style of play and try to attract great players. High school basketball needs a shot clock. chill
Chick is right! We should all be changing our style of play and then we will all get the #1 pg in the country from the Midwest. Makes perfect sense...
rulefollower
Maddux style of play: every year, bring in a new highly ranked middle school player, since TSSAA rules don't apply yet--or the TSSAA just doesn't care, secure job in enrollment so that classes with waiting lists, testing procedures etc. aren't a problem. Convince staff that these boys who don't fit the typical profile of the student at CPA but just happen to be outstanding ball handlers are really coming for the quality Christian education. Or if not that, he is simply bringing the mission field into the school. oh yea, don't forget to find jobs for their parents. Tweet and promote and promise a big future. Hey, so far this strategy has worked for Bonds, Lindsey, Blackwell and now Campbell--Fitzgerald is still young enough that most of you haven't heard of him yet, but again, a highly ranked MS player. Am I missing anyone?
rulefollower
Thought this was interesting commentary on Twitter: Chuck Lawson â€@ChuckLawson901 WACG 2019's Tyger Campbell considered by many people as the best pg in the country has relocated to Nashville Tn per source.. 8:28 PM - 6 May 2014 Coach Buffington â€@CoachBuff5 May 6 @ChuckLawson901 those pockets must be real deep Edited June 15, 2014 by rulefollower
QuickStrike
WACG stands for We All Can Go. Somehow a lot of their talent is relocating to middle Tennessee. They have had 2 transfers into BA, and now Tyger into CPA all within the past year. Don't know who is funding this train, but the rich keep getting richer.
