All scores seem reasonable with the exception of Williamsburg and Halls. Some of you are having some fun with it, but I'll say it won't be close. No offense to Halls, but it could be very ugly. Williamsburg played for the single A Ky state championship last year (lost) and only lost their quarterback to graduation, who has been replaced. I believe they put up 60 on Halls last year.

I say this having not seen much posted on Halls so far, so I would think they are still staring at a major rebuild.

Halls last decent season was in 2007 when they went 8-4. Thier rebuilding process is nearing close to ten years. Not sure when they will recover, if ever. Growth in that area of Knoxville has been stunted for awhile now.

Halls did pretty good in their scrimmages. They seem to be getting better, but I can't promise that will translate into wins. I wish them the best of luck in getting things turned around. I know first hand what its like being at the bottom of the district. That's why you'll never see me making fun of a team or fan base.

Yes, just having a little fun at Halls expense. As a CC alum, it's just kinda nice to not be the one getting poked. But in Halls defense, it couldn't happen to a better bunch! I, I believe, I believe we, I believe they won't win, won't win!!! Haha.

Leave it to a CC guy to bring Basketball into the Football discussion. I've been trolling the Football stuff because my oldest played Baseball and Basketball. My youngest is now playing football and yeah it's VERY rough out here. I hate to think I'm drinking the kool-aid, but I think we are improving. Slowly, and painfully, but improving.

I feel your pain Par. I played for CC and it's hard to go through seasons like that. I assure you I'm only having some fun here and don't mean to be malicious in any way. Your son could be part of the class that brings Halls back to respectability, and I hope he is. It's better for our entire district if our worst teams can challenge our best teams. Heck I saw where someone posted CC had only won 95 games ever, and the Prices have 16 of them. That's a lot of 0-10,1-9, and 2-8 seasons up there. The biggest fear for CC is they leave for a better job and they hire the wrong person to replace them. It could all go south very quick. CC has two or three years of decent talent in the system right now, so they need 4-5 straight winning seasons to really say they've turned that loser corner forever, just can't afford any let downs in district play at all. Good luck to Halls this season. Oh by the way, I started a bball thread, as to not diminish this thread.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
