I agree they played us tough this summer and we are prolly gonna be ranked top ten in state AAA.

I agree about Cannon co being tough , but not the second part of that sentence.

If Cannon finishes above LA in the district standings, I will not post on an 8aa boys basketball thread or any team playing in this district for and entire year. Won't happen, but I will be a man of my word.

One could have said that last year also considering how talented LA was No cannon did not finish ahead, but it was a tie.

Okay, took some digging but the new coach at CM is Douglas Worsley. He was the coach at Sycamore about 3-4 years ago when they were really good and lost to Giles Co. in the sectional game. 

Any of you Macon County fans have input on him? What style does he like to play? Preferred defense, etc...?

I remember a little about him when my kids were in 9AA but they were JVers not varsity kids.

How many players did Cannon loose? LA lost one that played any minutes.

Only losing 2 seniors, la will be the team to beat. Eldrige and gore will be a tough power house to compete with down low with Craig crowder and qualls up top.

Does DC have any playdays or scrimmages scheduled at home.

They played at Siegel this past weekend I think. Haven't heard any results though. I don't know if we play at home before HoF games or not.

Would be interested to hear their results. If u hear of any other scrimmages please let us know. Have heard they aren't very talented.
