The Trinity Christian Academy vs The University School of Jackson

TCA will be hosting cross town rival USJ. 1.8 miles separate the schools. Last year TCA thumped USJ 35-0 and it could have been a whole lot worse. TCA Coach Butler called the dogs off. TCA had a tough loss last Friday against #2 ranked St George's . USJ thumped Jackson SS 41-6. TCA returns 9 starters on OFF and 9 on Defense. USJ returns about 6 and 6. I look for USJ to play much more competitively this year but I think TCA wins by 17. Turnovers will be the key as they always are. Andrew Goldsmith will be the difference in the game. There will be a huge crowd as expectations are high. USJ has dominated series over the years but the tide has turned. Going to be a lot of fun as both teams run the spread offense.

It is simply going two of the premier private schools in West Tennessee going at it in what will amount to a good old fashioned street fight.  No love lost between the two schools although there is respect.  It may end up being the biggest crowd to see a football game in Jackson this season.  If you can't make the game, I hope you will listen in on "The Dove" 105.3fm or at http://www.gracebroadcasting.com . The Countdown To Kickoff Pregame Show is slated to start at 6:30pm central time with the kickoff scheduled for 7pm.  I hope everyone enjoys my broadcast.

Wouldn't call y'all's offense a street fight ! Maybe a dance competition ! But not a street fight ! Much to un civilized for you's sweatervesters !

Just sayin ......... Go 15 a!!!!! Lions by lots !

That "dance competition" as you call it has broken the backs of more than a few scoreboards across West Tennessee.  LOL

There we go! At least we have some activity. USJ fans must be on the DII board. USJ's QB is a former TCA player. He has really improved and I expect him to be somewhat of a challenge. He throws a very smooth fade. Their run game is solid with Bodiford. They are very young on defense but will compete. TCA better come ready to play. Last year is gone!
