I hate to say it but HV put up a big score last night.

True but they were playing Karns, one of the worst, if not the worst team in this whole area. WB had a tough loss to a good team because of 1 too many turnovers and mistakes. Our offense has been able to move the ball at will but has failed to end the drives in touchdowns. If they can cut out the mistakes we can win this game.

I think the defense is getting better. They made some good adjustments in the 2nd half. I think they will just keep getting better if they can keep their heads up. I really think the next 4 are winnable if they can cut out the mistakes. The good news is they have a bye week after the HVA game.

Not sure how you can make this statement when your squad is approaching a double digit losing streak. Things like this is why people give you a hard time.

Be waiting for a page long paragraph how WB has been so close since 2009 to knocking the door down and it's about da&* time they fully knocked it down. And how if they hadn't of thrown this or that interception or fumbled 96 times the past 3 years every year that they would be a top dawg in East TN like they were in 2007. Just kidding, 91. You know I love giving you He**

There's a big difference between being a team that gets blown out almost every single week and a team that manages to be competitive almost every week in one of the toughest districts in the state.

The only thing that matters is the win loss record, not moral victories. WB over the last 5 years is one of the worst 6A programs in the state according to the record books.

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
