I'd like to just give a shout out to the HYFL. This is my grandsons first year to play and over the past month I've seen some special athletes. I know these kids are young but if the continue to get better like they should the future is bright in Huntingdon. With that being said this will be a hard game to pick. If Huntingdon comes out and plays Camden like we played West Carroll this game will be over by halftime. But if the mustangs play like they are capable of we will pull this one out. But we are going to have to play our best game yet, we can't have our young backs putting the ball on the ground this week if we want to pull this one out

This is a big night for the Blow family. Huntingdon is going to see what they missed in not giving Blow a chance over there. They are also going to see what a fine quarterback his son has become. People sometimes just need a fair chance to show what they can do. The Camden Lions have a fine coach, and he and his staff have taken a group of young men that didn't have a chance in junior high and turned them into winners. This is one of my favorite Lion teams Camden has had in several years. I think they will go deep into the playoffs, barring no major injuries or flukes. I also think Will Blow will light up the scoreboard for the Carroll County Grand Champions if he gets a chance.

Huntingdon is a little beat up right now.   Huntingdon has gone back to the 1 play playbook with the direct snap to the qb run play.  Same play that was ran for last 4 seasons.  Stop that play and Camden will win the ballgame.  Its like there is not much else the team can run. Its good to get a W but players are not being showcase to get into colleges.   Baker should get passes thrown to him at the TE position.  He did a great job against Westview but Huntingdon has not run that play since.  Only will you see it is when Huntingdon gets down by 2 TD;s

Camden has a good running game as well and a defense that has stepped up to who they have played so far.  Blow and his past carroll county staff enjoy the challenge of playing their old school each year.  I think Huntingdon and Camden have play each other since Football started..

same as last week   team that controls the ball wins.

I have not seen the Mustangs play this year and I suppose that most Mustang fans have not seen Camden play.  From my limited knowledge of Huntingdon's playbook (going to Camden vs Huntingdon games) I can see the student body left and student body right plays on a consistant basis from them.  Camden's run defense is fairly strong this year.  Pass defense is not as strong.  I don't think Huntingdon can win just running the ball.  I could be wrong, but not often...lol. Camden can run only and win this game.  Huntingdon has not seen a back of Deshawn Brown's caliber this year and probably won't the rest of the year.  He is very, VERY talented. Just go ask a Lewis county players how difficult it was to tackle him.  He is probably only second to John Jones at Crockett County as the best in West Tennessee.Camden doesn't always run the wing T offense anymore either. More a read option now.

People want to talk about Camden's schedule being weak and how they only beat South Gibson by 3 and all that junk.  Camden just dominated a Lewis county team that was undefeated, big, and coached by one of the best coaches in Tennessee High School Football. Schedule means nothing in how strong you team is.

Huntingdon has lost two games and to undefeated teams at that.  Well this makes the third they will lose to an undefeated team.  Camden runs through Huntingdon and wins by 14.    Camden 34 Huntingdon 20.

Hope for safe travels and no injuries.

Haven't seen the caliber of Brown? They've seen Henry of UC the best back in w tn. UC qb better than Camden's running the read option. Edited by horse

Crockett Co,s John Jones is a beast and Deshawn Brown is slippery as an eel and fast, If Henry is the best back in West Tn., and better than both of them, he maybe should forgo the rest of High school and for sure College and go on the the Prows. Some of them could sure use a super running back. UC QB may very well be better at running the read option and that's OK but UC QB being better than Camden won't help the Mustangs Friday Night. Lions 38 Mustangs 20

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
