Loretto at Wayne County

They will rely more on the QB's legs and the old school wing T half back option and full back dive up the middle either side of center... I think you'll be surprised at the push and open holes their front 5 will create for 3 to 5 yard gains. Look for their big gains to come from the QB running the ball.

I'm gonna say their losing record had to come from bad ball control (fumbles).

I don't see our line getting pushed around and are very disciplined on their reads, our linebackers have been money!

i will agree with BB here, Loretto is not a bad football team and continues to get better every week. they have an issue with ball control which seems to be under control now.

if they control the turnovers; this game will be closer than the WC fans want to admit. Bad Weather will be in the favor of the mustangs.... they don't want to pass anyway. Athletes will match up well in this game. I say this will be an upset victory for the mustangs.

10-4... I wasn't meaning Loretto would dominate that Wildcat D... Just saying you'd be surprised at their capabilities.

I'd run a 5-2 defense having the outside LB mirroring the Wing back and help shut 'em down in the middle when warranted.

WC will probably run a four man front but wouldn't be surprised to see a three man.

Better to go man to man. If those big three on Loretto's line gets the chance to double team your 3 or 4 and your LB's freeze at all?.... 3-4 yards per play with an open whole for the Stangs.

MP's LB's got caught up in looking for the sweep from the wing back or an out side run from the QB freezing them for a moment, while the full back and half back gashed them all night off center 3-6 yards at a time.... MP was in a 4-3. That double team on MP's front four in either direction produced Loretto's drives across the field along with QB legs on outside runs keeping our LB'S honest.

WC's defense a lot better, I know. But watching line play as I do, only BGA looked better than Loretto's line... Sring Hill about the same.

WC doesn't mess around and give up the ball with short field advantages for Loretto? Y'all will handle this game... just make Loretto drive the field every possession.... IF they can :thumb:

p.s. just been feeling like talking a little footbal. :thumb:

Bigby you got alot of football knowledge. Why you no coach. Collinwood could use your help. Seriously. I looked back at greenmans posts and yall had some doozies. I see him on the sidelines and he looks distraught. You can tell hes lost.

You coming to Waynesboro for the middle school game tonight?

Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
