BaxterBiRite1996
The game personally I and I know a bunch of good ole fans of the Upperman Bees are looking forward to. I think it will be a great turn out to Billy C. Rodgers field on friday night. I hope we give Samber a welcome back party that will hurt him for a long time. The Bees and the coaching staff will be fired up for this one. Final score 37-21 BEES!!

Stealer007
I don't see leaving as a big deal. I'm guessing that most are mad at the timing of that decision. That happens and life goes on, after Friday the coaches move will be a afterthought. Good luck to both.

Classless
Cowardly? I really don't get that. How was his leaving "cowardly". On second thought let it go. It's high school I'm sure he did what he wanted to and what he thought was best for him. I expect it to be a loud fun game a lot of kids will never forget. TyWebb
He coached Upperman in the morning after telling Coach Heron he was with him, then gets in his car drives to Jamestown coaches York's afternoon practice then called Herron tells him he is leaving. Not going so far as to call it cowardly but probably not how it should have been handled

I'd guess he was at another program before he came to Baxter. When he got to Baxter, did anybody ask him how he left the last program? Probably not, nor care. First of all, YI enjoys a good party!!! Second, even if YI takes the "L" I don't think Samber will take it personal. Third, at YI it's about TEAM and not a coach, the TEAM will take the "W" or "L", not Samber.

Besides, hopefully he can make YI better. I don't mind better competition.
