Cwood versus PC homecoming in Collinwood

This should be a good game. Not really sure who to pick because both teams struggle on defense. I think it being at Collinwood and it being homecoming i have to give them the edge. Linden's coming off a bye week and they will be really rusty in my opinion. These kids will play one quarter and get tired then quit. No matter who they're playing. They should've beaten Loretto. They were up the whole game and had a great game plan but the lack of leadership and lack of heart in my mind really came back to haunt them in that game. I may be wrong and Linden come out like waynesboro poster said and when by three touchdowns but i went back and watched them play Loretto on MustangsTV.com and they seem to have some speed. Should be a great week of talking on here even though i'm the only poster that affiliates with Linden.

I just don't see cwood stopping yalls run... we had some problems stopping it some and our defense its pretty good this year they will have to be able to stop the run to win his one

Well i hope you're right. These boys need a win and the last District game would help them a lot. The first five teams (Scotts Hill (3-2), Waverly (5-0), Loretto (2-3), Parsons (2-3), and Waynesboro (5-1) ) Linden played have a combined record of (17-10). The next five teams (Collinwood (0-6), Centerville (5-0), Columbia Academy (5-0), McEwen (1-4), and Cornersville (1-5)   have a combined record of (12-15). Just hope Linden can somehow use this bye week as a motivation to try their best to get to the five hundred mark if anything possibly (3-7).

Your 3-7 at best but that ain't bad after starting 0-5. Coming from a WC fan I wish y'all and Cwood didn't have to play each other this year.

PC has scored 64 points all year and CW has scored 58 points all year.

CW's average per game (dropping 1 lowest scoring game [WC-0] to match PC's 5 games) is 8 points and PC's average per game is 12 points.

PC's highest score was 26 against Loretto and CW's was 22 against Lewis Co.

Common opponent is Loretto in which Offensively PC scored 26 and CW scored 20. But Defensively PC gave up 42 and CW gave up 41 to Loretto.

Both of these teams are pretty even but so far the numbers say PC by a TD.

Should be a good game with either capable of winning it.... Why I said this one was so hard to pick.

Wildcat89... appreciate your input. I believe you might be correct on this one.

I totally agree but at least try and come out and be motivated against Columbia Academy and Centerville. McEwen's gotten better and it seems like Cornersville has hit a huge bump in the road. I hope Cornersville continues to play like this and hopefully Linden can go three and two the next five weeks.

I would like to see them win. It will most likely be the only chance they have of getting a win. Loretto is the only team they've played this year with a losing record. Perry Co on the other hand has performed better against the common opponents, and they seem to have the advantage in size. This game will be interesting to say the least.

On a side note: Wilson, Al is still unbeaten, but they play Deshler, Al this week....

Theyll still be unbeaten. Deshler not the same powerhouse as years past. I hope Wilson can go undefeated.
