Science Hill/DB. Halloween Showdown.

I know it's 2 weeks away but I figured I'd go ahead and start this. You all know you're ready for it. Who wins and why? Let's go..........

 

Like the last couple of years, this one will be very close. A heated rivalry game between two of the best teams in East TN. It doesn't get better than that. In order for the Toppers to win they've got to 1. get healthy and 2. stop the run. In order for the Indians to win they've got to 1. contain McGue and 2. stop the Topper air attack.

DB will be clicking on all cylinders because this is for the District. Our defense will play its best game of the year and East might just have his best game as the Tribe QB. This will be an air attack from both sides. We have to contain Mcgue and shut down Mikey White. Our kicking game will be the difference. Final 34-28 ROLL TRIBE

First, DB has to make sure there isn't a midget ref from Greeneviile.Second, if a DB player has to hold someone, go ahead and get a pretty brunette, blond or that rare pretty redhead during the week off.Third, just roll Tribe !

I'd say SH plays their starters long enough to make any future SH defectors think twice before they go to Boone or any other simular named school.Then they go with the backups.SH's 9th grade is very talented but nobody in their right mind would just go with freshmen against grown men ,some of those Boone boys are like myself,they have not missed many meals ..

Toppers were missing multiple starters for their game vs Volunteer this past Friday. Those that did play only played mid-way through the 2nd quarter. My guess is that is what will happen this week vs Boone too. We really need all of our injured players to be able to rest and get healthy. Speaking of injuries, does DB have any right now? Here's the current list for the Toppers. These are all starters.

 

QB Malik McGue-bruised knee. Has played limited time the last two games but from what I'm told is fine to play.

WR Mikey White-ankle sprain. Did not play vs Volunteer and is questionable vs Boone. Should be back for DB.

WR Tyrique Perkins-hip pointer. Did not play vs Volunteer and is questionable for Boone. Should be back for DB.

RB/QB Justin Bedard-ankle sprain. Had two carries vs Volunteer before sitting. I doubt he plays again until DB.

DE Quintin Alibocus-had emergency surgery last week. Will possibly be back for DB.

I just read this on the DB web page for the freshmen parents...........THE FRESHMEN WILL HOST CROCKETT
MONDAY, OCTOBER 20TH AT 6:00PM.
​THERE IS NO GAME AT CENTRAL.
​PLAYERS NEED TO BE AT THE FIELD HOUSE TO GET ITEMS BY
4:15PM AND BE DRESSED BY 4:50PM.

If db has very limited stupid flags and plays like their capable with no turnovers , then i think db will roll on to victory! I think g.clark having two weeks to study mcgue and get these kids ready is in our favor . Mcgue will be out of the pocket alot due to db stopping the run so db has to focus on the outer perimeter and if we can get to him " which i think we can" we will have him panicked , creating turnovers ! Going to be a packed crowd And Alot from all over the state watching this one , but i think it will be a close one and db pulls it out in 4th ..db wins 48 - 38
