Hoping for a huge crowd, despite the mediocre season. I think the MJ faithful will show up. Gallatin also had a good reason for fan to travel. Unfortunately I cannot make the game. Gwave and Bkisler, I'm hoping or a very very detailed synopsis of the game!

I will do my best. This game for more than one reason is massive. I expect a good crowd. I work with several MJ supporters and they are all excited for this game.

This will be  great game ! A lot on the line for both teams.I cant wait for kick off.

It will an honor to walk out on the field with my son and his senior teammates for senior night.

Hard to believe this will be their last home game. It has been a pleasure watching these young men play ball for the last several years.

Let's go Bears ! Time to crank it up. A new season starts tonight !

GO BEARS !

Lots of respect in this rivalry. Gallatin owns a large edge in the overall series 26-7 but I can almost remember every defeat. Maybe this game can get carried over for a few more years despite the new classifications.

Have a safe travel BKisler. Hope nobody gets hurt either. Also hoping for a huge Green Wave victory!!

GWave you are so right about the respect in this rivalry. I hope they keep this one going. This is what high school football is all about. I'm sure the Wave are as pumped for this game as the Bears are.

Safe travels to you and yours !

When your team has 4 turnovers and still wins something has to be going right. The 14-14 halftime lead stayed true until around the 6 minute mark of the 4th qtr. The two teams swapped the lead and 29 pts in the final minutes. After MJ scored with 1:24 secs left I knew it would take some huge plays. Dee Redding came through in the clutch with some huge catches in the :42 it took to score. Nick Tuck made a great 7 yard dive in the endzone for the final td. The 2 pt conversion was huge and Meador made that happen. Then Gallatin has to hang on with Chowbay making some big throws to get into Fg range. The 47 yard attempt goes wide as the final second ticks off. I have never seen a team miss 4 fgs in one game before. Little Mahler was the spark for MJ, what a tough guy to bring down. MJ helped the Wave cause with some terrible penalties. Really proud of Gallatin and the fan support after the game. Great win tonight!!

    • I was asked about this untrue speculation last night at our banquet(and several times over the last few weeks) which has been circulating on this website and through word of mouth. I am not taking the Rockvale job, nor have I even interviewed for that job or ANY other job since coming to Tullahoma. I have no desire to leave Tullahoma, my family and I love it here. We are committed to building our Lady Cats basketball program. I wanted to make sure our players, parents and stakeholders didn't get mixed messages from what I have continued  to communicate from day one and the untrue speculations of me leaving.  Coach Hibdon As stated above and I will add for clarification. This includes Blackman, we have no desire to leave Tullahoma, go back to Rutherford Co (even Blackman) or ANYWHERE else. There has been speculation from day 1 that I may be leaving for another job particularly RuCo and I have had to address the speculations many times. So I felt it necessary to make a statement for the basketball community and mostly our Ttown community to hear my commitment again amongst these constant rumors. We love this community, love living by the lake and no desire to move our 3rd grader and 6th grader from this school system. I wanted to make these statements for all those who are invested and interested in Lady Cats Basketball that my family and I are committed to being a part of Tullahoma High and the Tullahoma community for many years.
    • Well well well,  It was just a matter of time before the wheels fell plumb off the dragon wagon, and that pos  is sittin' over on highway 61 #### up in the ditch.   I called it 2 years ago everybody thought it was so cute with the church van and the K-town basement boys.   And here we are.  This is about to get fugly.  It's a mess and it's about to go public.   Investigators are just now scratching the surface.  Stay tuned.  Watch the news in the next few nights. Just when you thought you had seen it all, here we go......................
    • I am betting on that one too. They will rock 4A. Many don't see it coming.
    • So Reado left because Smith left? That seems like Smith just pulled the rug out from under him and left Reado hanging. Why didn't Reado just stay on and coach O-Line. I am sure he could have done a great job. He has been successful before at CAK and Grace Christian of Knoxville. Is private Christian School coaching that much different than coaching public school, and it also being BHS at that?
