I think this game will come down to the trenches. I've seen the Oakland boys and the Riverdale boys and i'd have to give the Patriots the edge. They're just outright bigger and more talented! Otherwise i'd say their pretty close in the skill positions. With that said I still give Oakland the nod.

Riverdale will have to play a perfect game to win this one! Oakland and Blackman are the two best teams in our region. Rivalry game and both teams know what this game means! Hopefully the Warriors will be more competitive then they were against Blackman! I have a feeling they will be! GO WARRIORS!!!

Riverdale and Oakland both continue to improve on both sides of the ball. Defense will certainly be played tough by both teams. Oakland by 7 on a defensive score.

I saw both teams play in the past two weeks. If the Oakland team shows up that played Baylor, Riverdale wins. If the Riverdale team shows up that played Cain Ridge, Oakland wins. It's going to be a typical battle of the Boro!

Depends on which Oakland team shows up in the first half. If it's close at the half then Oakland pulls away by a couple of scores. 28-17 Pats.

This will be a close one till the 4th quarter then the Patriots will slip away!

This is a really interesting match-up.  Oakland should win and two touchdowns is about right.

 

I do think Riverdale has a chance. Even with Oakland's overall edge in talent and experience the style that both teams play sets up the possibility of a really good game. However, if the Warriors do anything to help Oakland, or don't get points when they should, this one could get out of hand.  Riverdale has to play 48 minutes of smart, disciplined football to have a chance.

 

Does anybody else find it completely odd that the game is tomorrow and this is just the 8th reply on this thread?

There seems to be a lack of that Drive Of Pride in the county anymore. Even amoung the parents of the players. I think it the new "everyone gets a throphy" mentality thats grown over the past years...

Oakland crushes Riverdale like a bug
