Heard from Maryville or Alcoa, TSSAA?

 Dead line to submit requests to move up in class is tomorrow. 

 

Any word on Maryville or Alcoa yet?

I understand murvil is trying to cash in some favors and get moved down to Fulton's region in 4A.

As of now....Maryville stays in there appointed division and plays 5A....Alcoa does the same staying in 2A. TSSAA celebrates as Region 7, 6a has a chance to win a state championship.

I have heard Maryville is moving up and heard they are staying put. Only thing that matters to me is the possible ripple effect for Middle Tenn district alignment it might have.

You can put Maryville in any classification and they will be in the title hunt each and every year! Including private classifications! I feel they have more then proved themselves!!!

Shaquille ONeal dominated in the post for years . Then the NBA added the 3 second rule so he couldn't live in the paint anymore. Now there is the Super 32 reclassification change. Get my drift??

^{I don't see this new super 6 lasting more than the two years it's getting.   Too many travel issues with Quad/Region one for it to work.   If they do indeed move Cookeville to Quad two and create a 7-9-8-8 grouping then that totally defeats the intent of the system.   I'd assume you'd have to have a "play in " game in Quad 2 and a first round bye for quad 1 winner.}
