5 – South Doyle

6 – Memphis East

8 – Anderson County

9 – Henry County

10 – Oak Ridge

 

M A X P R E P S top 10:

AP is just sportswriters voting. How do the others get their top 10? What defines a power ranking? By the way, I think these 10 are spot on.

Sonny Moore has traditionally been a relatively accurate ranking system once the season is in week 5 or 6. It uses a fairly complex system to determine a teams rank. Where it falls short are things like defensive TD's, scores against subs later in the game, etc.

Upsets happen all the time. I find it fascinating when some of the #1 seeds start falling when the playoffs start. Anything can happen come playoff time. That's the fun of it all.

^^^  Sonny Moore is usually pretty close and it seems to me that M A X P R E P S seems close right now, that's why I also included the Average of the 3 for conversation purposes
