Imo 2010 was the best Alcoa team I've seen but I can only go back to the late 90s early 2000s but I've talked to Tyrus Gilmore and he told me Alcoa was the best when he played... 2009 was a great team by the way.

There was no need to pass in that Maryville game with the backfield we had, and I don't think we did.

There was a future SEC d-lineman and a future NFL linebacker trying to stop the run game in the championship and they couldn't. Probably was the best Alcoa team ever and maybe the best Milan team ever.

Those red zone turnovers made a big difference. Game was much closer than 21-0.

True we did give ya a couple of scores but you were still the better team. Our defense was the strength of our team and we did limit you guys to 1 long scoring drive. But we couldn't do anything with the ball. Plenty of talent. Running back ended up going to UT Martin and QB went to NAIA Bethel but just couldn't do anything that day.
