How would Adamsville win the district title if Riverside beats TCA?  I was always under the impression that first district tie breaker was head to head.  Adamsville beats Riverside, TCA beats Adamsville, Riverside beats TCA.....nothing solved there as all three would finish 4-1

I'm glad Riverside is still in the chat, but the truth is the playoffs will go through Adamsville and TCA regardless of how this ends up. I'm hoping Riverside will get to travel to middle TN for the playoffs like they did last year.

You are right.  This thread should be about the game.  I do think that Riverside will travel to Forrest for a first round playoff game and I think you guys will come home from that one a winner.  Your reward.....a trip to Adamsville. 

 

Concerning the game.  The Riverside ground attack will provide a challenge for TCA especially if you still line up your linemen heel to toe like Coach Robertson likes to do.  It's ugly and very old school, but with the right combination of linemen, it's effective.  I know that Riverside will try to make it a rather hostile environment for TCA.  To be honest, we both know that Riverside will face severe challenges in trying to cover the TCA passing attack.  Only one team was remotely successful and they had to drop all 11 defenders into coverage to accomplish that.  In that game, we simply shredded them with our running game instead.  

 

This game may be close for a quarter or a half.  But in the end TCA pulls away and wins by 4-5 touchdowns. 

 

My hope is for an injury free game for both teams so that both are ready to go for the playoffs.

I like Riverside but TCA has a great team, itll be a great first half then TCA will roll away from them.  Congrat to TCA's quarterback for clutching the game on senior night good jackson sun article about the game in todays paper.

And you think this why exactly? You want to elaborate, give reasons why Forrest doesn't beat Riverside? (If this scenario occurs)

I ask, because Forrest didn't have a great game against them last year and still won. And didnt Riverside's QB (which was their only threat last year) graduate?

Riverside is a better team this year. Trouble is, I hear Forrest is a much better team this year. We'll know next week what's up with the playoffs. Congrats to Forrest on big win over middle TN private school.

actually if Riverside wins first tie breaker is overall wins which Adamsville would take due to TCAs loss.  The tie breaker for head to head is just for 2 teams tied not 3
