Good teams, who might barely miss the playoffs

What good teams possibly couldn't make the playoffs?

Giles Co.?They were runner up in 4a last year.

With as many teams as they take from each region there are ZERO good teams that will not qualify for the playoffs.  The real question is how many bad teams will make the playoffs?  The playoffs should be for the top 16 teams in each division and all other teams with 7+ wins would be eligible for an invitation to a bowl game.  The only reason to have so many divisions and teams in the playoffs is to fund the bank account of the TSSAA.

I agree with cbg, there will be zero good teams LEFT OUT of the playoffs.

 

A better question might be: HOW MANY BAD TEAMS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS?

King's Academy has long been a joke in football.Matt Lowe has led them to a 7-3 record this season but no playoffs this year.They have had some bad defeats however they are a good team who is better than some in the playoffs
