Congrats on the big win!

:thumb:...... Tigers played aweful the first half. Tigers defense couldn't stop E.H. and Tiger offense could even get past the 50 yard line at times, even with punts included.

 

After halftime a different bunch of Tigers came put of the locker room.

 

Tiger D only allowed E.H. to score once in the top of the 3rd and then it was lights out from there.

 

Tiger offense caught on fire and burnt the field with 3 unanswered TD's and 2 two point conversions from the bottom of the 3rd through the 4 qtr.

 

I gave up on them sadly thinking it was over at halftime but they never gave up on themselves. I am glad I stuck it out and stayed... I am proud of the boys for that and never laying down and quitting thinking it was lost.

 

They should be very proud of themselves because I Know the fans that stuck it out til the finish of the game with them are Very Proud of the boys!

 

Folks who stayed got their money's worth in the second half.

 

Even with the Tigers shooting themselves in the foot with several penalties sending themselves backwards at times and a turn over they still came back to win.

 

Great Win Tigers! You guys prove you got heart tonight!

 

A lot of happy Tiger fans tonight after the game.

Yeah I was there. Have to admit when we went up 24-6 I thought we had it.

      It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
