Wish I had joined the T family earlier in the year! It's been fun the short time I have been here. Maybe startin next year I can meet some of you fellers! Great year for Oneida. Time to hit the weights and get ready for next year!

You might not look like a classless AzzHat while calling someone else out for classless behavior.

To top it off you rip a guy who is saying that "classless" behavior will not be tolerated.

Smh.

Slice your a littl off base with smash, he's got a ton of class. He had to move to Texas because it's the only joint big enough for his passion for football. I can promise you he would call OHS out just as quickly if it were needed.

GCA was +3 on turnovers, take the 3 OHS trips inside the red zone with only 3 points and it really coulda been worse. Can't do that with a team like GCA. Overall we got beat up front but we did run the ball better than I expected most of the time. Had receivers open all night but not passing much all year makes it tough to do it late. QB / WR timing just wasn't what it needed to be. Line did a great job, QB had a ton of time, maybe to much. seemed to keep it a little to long before pulling the trigger. I was proud of how our little center held his own with #2.

Got to meet him & his dad. GCA #2 spoke very highly of how tough a game our center gave him. His dad was a very nice fellar as well. Saw coach Brew & as usual had a really nice conversation with him just shorter than we'd like but the team has to get going.

Pujo & the Roan mountain gang were in attendance got to meet LJ, 91, foreveeanol, the Hampton QB, Raven, Pride, RamFan, even briefly spoke to ramradio but I don't think he knew who I was. I think his mind may be slipping or maybe he just didn't wanna talk to me :roflol:

Overall a good night but the game stunk. Like I told Brew I wished we woulda whooped their tails but it was not to be. We may not have made it past the quarters but the best thing of all is this season the team services on Thursday evenings saw a total of 5 young men saved by Gods amazing grace & several others rededicating their lives. Praise the Lord, God is good.

Pujo ole friend, safe travels to the bus crew. Wear it well & if you ever decide to climb down off Roan mountain we could find LJ a little orange & white to ya know ;)

Later!!!

Hey Crow, it was good to finally meet you.  Like Raven said, I haven't posted much lately though. Good to meet 91 landers and the other poster from Cloudland too....sorry, I forgot his name. Heard that Pujo was there but still yet to meet him. Met the Hampton QB and shook his hand and got to tell him I thought he was a great football player....nice kid.

Great job Rams on your big win. Next stop....Marion County.

    • When Danny was a senior he was the quarterback on the 82 team and also the placeholder on extra points. At the end of the game Heritage scored a touchdown with very little time left and went ahead 9-0. On the following extra point Danny rose up and threw a perfect pass to one of his receivers which made it 11-0 and Heritage's first win against Maryville since the series started in 77. Maryville fans were highly ticked off because they felt like it was rubbing salt in the wound. The following year when both teams met again at Maryville  the Rebels ran away with the game and after the first couple of touchdowns they went for two points after each score for a pay back and the score was 45-0 at halftime. The following Monday Bob Gilbert the sports eiditor for the local paper bashed Maryville in an article called the Humilation of Teenagers and tore into Maryville even though he was a graduate of the school. Those were the good ole days when Heritage had decent teams and the rivalry between them and Maryville was a fun event to see.
    • I get all that.  And I agree too.  However, if the coach is only there to coach that would give them more time to do those things. The school system and booster clubs combine and pay them.
    • 3 sides to every story….Someone getting kicked off for saying the F word then it seems maybe your star player? Probably was the last straw.
    • who cares good luck to the kid. Hopefully he finds peace at MV.
    • Those are the three I was referring to popcorn
