Who knew Derek Dooleys recruiting coordinator wound come watch NCS play. It all makes sense now as this man seems to be blind and stupid.

Put on your special glasses, get up close to the computer and watch the game. What you saw was as far from reality as it gets.

Haters can hate all they want. Those two boys will have a great football life well beyond Friday nights.

Enlighten me on how you know 35 will lay down? Are you in his head? You're a special kind of stupid.

I know this is a UC/LC thread but wanted to give a future scouting report. Went to the NCS/Wayne County game last night to see a potential opponent for UC (yes UC). The Givens kid who is a Mr. Football finalist and Ole Miss commit is WAY OVERRATED! He is tall and that is about it. He should have laid the wood on Wayne County but never saw him hit one guy. He is used on defense about 50% of the time but really is a waste. #35 Bituli is by far their best player. He is a big kid, but if he gets hit hard a few times he will lay down. He likes to overpower the smaller players but doesn't do much to the kids his own size. He is the main RB and MLB. Again, I know wthe thread topic but whoever wins this game will play NCS.

Don't know who this clown is, but he/she's not setting a good precedent for what might be a good match-up Thanksgiving week.  This is not the first thread he/she's posted this crap on.  He/she's quite the representative from UC - going around bashing 16-17 year old kids.  He/she certainly doesn't have the class that Swo, Jdogg, and ucdiditagain have.

100% the way it was last year.  Union City will hurt you on hits and the backs running over you.

The oddest part is NCS has never had anything but compliments for UC. It doesn't seem that you could be a UC fan. Maybe a Johnny come lately jumping on for the success. BigSWO, get this boy neutered,, maybe he'll calm down.

Don't know him. I think he might be from mid state. He was at your game last night. I would think any seriuos UC fan would have been close to home last night listening to the game or at the stadium watching. Let's just move on and talk about this game in front of us and if we both are lucky enough we will talk about our rematch next week,

Lake county is a great story and good program. Especially with 18 players but UC is rolling. NCS will be the toughest game of the year for UC but I still think they win by 14 to 21. I'm staying on that gosh awful turdnado bandwagon I started the year on. lol

yso I will get you a hat and T-shirt if you want. You would look good in purple.

    • Personally I was pulling for Lee Hammonds to get another shot. He’s earned it!
    • Tyler Williams was the logical choice to be named head football. He served as the Highlanders’ strength coach and offensive coordinator.
    • I went to practice yesterday and liked what I saw for the most part. Derek and crew have done a good job during the off-season. I was very impressed with the size of some of those boys on the offensive line. My only regret was one of the boys I was really pulling for to have a good year was dismissed from the team. I have to applaud the coaches for setting examples for the others, no one is bigger than the team. One other thing, I was hoping with that big rain we got this week some of that  yellow paint would dissolve but it didn't.
    • Couple of thoughts: 1.  I just don't understand all the intricacies in TSSAA transfer rules anymore.    William Blount had a kid that played the final part of the basketball season with them this year,  that played at Hardin Valley last year, and played football for Bearden this year.  I say that to say, I know the coaches and the AD and the Principal at WB and I will never believe they would do something they knew was wrong.  They are men of character.  I BELIEVE the same thing about the coaches and administration at Maryville.  Call me gullible, but these are men and women of integrity in my experiences with them. 2.  Much like the transfer of the Clemmer kid a couple of years ago, with Smith, the football team is getting a huge boost, but the impact on the basketball team will be just as great or maybe even greater.  With Smith playing post, it frees the Sigmund kid who will be coming back from injury, to play more with his face to the basket.  The Rebels basketball squad in my mind, will be "the program" in East Tennessee next year.
    • Could not agree more. After this year, McKenzie's new coach will have their work cut out for them. Staying in 1A would definitely be a huge plus. Most years there is not much difference in the top 5- 1A and 2A teams across the state, but after the top 5 or so there is normally a huge drop off for 1A. Regular season region play is a lot easier for 1A in West TN  right now.
