Im looking forward to the move down next season. We have an execellent team returning next year. What does Jcounty, Aquatown, Cascade, and Eagleville have coming back next year? I probably missed someone else to.

Westmoreland should dominate that region.

As big as Gordonsville's region will be we'll only have 2 non region games.

I'm sure we're keeping Smith Co., but I'm anxious to see who we keep out of Westy and Watertown if we keep either one.

And you're basing that they should "dominate" on what exactly?

Westmoreland, on average, is better than the rest of those teams.

I see them Jackson and Watertown every year, and to be honest, I can't recall a year when those two teams could beat Westmoreland outside of one or two years.

I don't know when Community had a good football team.

East Robertson can't hang with Westmoreland most years.

That leaves Cascade, Eagleville, and Forrest.

Cascade will be their biggest challenge most years.

Eagleville has a very good coach and even though this was a down year, they'll compete most years with Westy, but Westy will be a bit better than them.

And, Forrest. If I'm not mistaken, that's the team you support.

Well, I've never seen anything out of them that they would consistently compete with Westy.

Westmoreland will be challenged mostly by Cascade and Eagleville with Westmoreland winning the majority.

They will probably be the most physical team any of their region opponents play, and they were young in key spots this year, and I don't see any of those teams beating them next year.

Does that answer your question?

Lordy, Lordy, the cow has jumped over the moon, it's raining cats and dogs, pigs are flying and any other cliche' that can be used, Postie has left us. You folks are in for a real supprise. Don't say we didn't warn you. Yes, Westie will have a good team next year, not as good as this year, but will be very competitive.

Not really.......Forrest is traditionally better than Cascade (smacked them this year) and handled Eaglevile as well. There's usually not much difference between Eagleville and Forrest, so yeah, not following that logic. See ya next Fall!!!!

For one, I'm not a Westmoreland fan, but I'm very familiar with them.

I'm familiar with the other programs as well.

You have a higher view of Chapel Hill than most that have any ounce of reasoning.

Look it up, the past ten years Forrest and Cascade are about even head to head, and I bet Cascade scored more points in that series, so yeah, not following that logic.

You smacked them by two scores, smh, not really a smacking.

If there's not much difference between Eagleville and Forrest, then you are in trouble. I've seen Eagleville and Westmoreland both in the last couple of years, and West would've beat them.

Granted, Westmoreland has down years, but like I said, on average they'll be the best team in that region.

    • I lived through the Hammontree era with my sons. His 10 year tenure at Heritage was way too long. That is the most hard headed, egotistical man I have ever met. He ridiculed players and degraded repeatedly. He ran off some good young coaches that loved Heritage but couldn’t work for him. I do know what I’m talking about and it’s not hearsay, I lived it.
    • HVA is a dump and will never be good at football. It's a baseball school. Look at the types of homes being built and families moving in. Not football families. People will move in and look at the school and choose to play for another program. This issue has been snow balling for a decade now
    • Also no shot at an indoor facility it took ya'll almost a decade just to turf blankenship
    • You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years. Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced. Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes
    • Will Trez remain 2A after the influx of another 2A school?
