It's about fairness. If Union City was playing in 3A, and going against schools twice their size, and playing against teams where maybe only 1 or 2 boys played both ways....I mean, they had an offensive team and defensive team...and, never had a chance to win the district...then, I'd bet we'd be hearing from UC fans about unfair it was. I mean, when a team can pick from twice as many boys to be on the basketball team, and the football team, then it just creates an unfair advantage. It just does.

If a school is playing other schools that are near to the same size and still get beat all the time, then so be it. They just need to work harder, and get better. But, whenever a team is facing schools twice their size on a regular basis, then...I'm sorry....but, something just doesn't seem fair about that.

But, that's how it is in the TSSAA, so small schools like Bradford, Gleason, Greenfield, S. Fulton, Lake Co., and others just have to make the best of it.

This is basketball so if you want to talk about that then how come teams like Mitchell and BTW are in single A and not double A? So why are we still bringing this crap up? Where the complaints about it when UC had down years? They were no where. UC is not winning state titles constantly; in fact UC's last boys basketball team state title was '08; which people can argue that the team we faced in Manassas should of been in double A as well cause of all the transfer students from a school that closed down. Why not complain about football talent; then why dont Alcoa move up to 4A cause they win titles pretty much every year except 2 since '04? So we can keep going but it is what it is.

We have done that man...Nobody Bd & Md about it...When we went down enough in numbers to drop, we dropped....When we go up in enough in numbers to go up, we will go up....Danggggg....

Maybe we need to go to 10 or 12 classifications so we can have 10 or 12 champions....

I see Union City beat Bradford 78 to 38 last night. Halls beat Bradford 70 to 37. I think it will be a great matchup this season. How's Lake County doing in District play? I know that Union City beat them by over 30 points.
