Houston County 2015-2016

A 1-9 season and a bunch of beaten up players while only dressing under 20 players most of the season later, the Irish have a new district and maybe some fresh air. Coach Clark answered the call over there and got down to the junior high hard and have over 20+ 8th graders signed up with well over 50 signed up in highschool now. Give or take how many stay. With Coach Clark's first 4 year class graduating this year in mind, how do you think those boys will compete next year?

They will be much improved. Coach Clark is a classy man and had to endure a lot this past season.

Hopefully they will continue to improve. I just never could figure out why Houston Co. football can't seem to ever put back to back to back .500 seasons together.

Depth is the main thing, they're trying to get that fixed over there though.

HC sounds alot like Cwood. Were in the same boat. First year coach, low numbers, injuries, and tough schedule made for a rough season. We'll bounce back, I hope soon. But were gonna have to get better coaching. We have some talent coming.

What do you guys like to do? Run/throw? We line up in the gun and run it right at you....got 3 backs all capable of going over 100 yards every game and a couple kids who can catch it on the outside...O line is our strength with 5 seniors and a junior and blocking back is a senior...D has been playing outstanding all year...secondary got tested against McKenzie...hopefully we make adjustments and keep getting better

Sounds like offensively the Irish play the same game as you guys. They have 4 "horsemen" in the backfield that run behind a senior heavy offensive line. They as well have talent in the WR positions that are thrown too. Smash mouth football..

Just pulled this off max prep. HC seems to run 3 guys pretty heavy between the three they have almost 1150 yards on the year. One of them being about 520 and the other two splitting the rest .
