Silver ball is still a great accomplishment for those boys from coalfield. They're about the 5th smallest school in the state of Tennessee. Under 190 students. Not an open zoned magnet school of 350+. Most everyone in the tenn hs football world knew UC would repeat.

So CHS is in a closed (zoned/district-ed) County?

Nashville Christian only had 33 yards of total offense for the game. They are not only an offensive powerhouse, they are also a defensive powerhouse. I believe their closest game this year was 26 points, and that was a victory against a 2A finalist (Trenton-Peabody)...and with their backup quarterback, because the starter was sidelined with an injury for 3 games.

Note: both teams are in 14A
