Shouldn't be close. He has dominated the district the past 2 seasons. I bet his stats over the past 2 seasons against the district has been unreal. And UC didn't lose a district game, nobody even played past 2 1/2 quarters with them. Not sure how there can by an argument. Cant say well he has played behind this oline, that oline. I've seen games where the oline didn't block so well but Henry still took over.

The argument between the LC point of view is that Wilkes should be mvp because he had almost 3,000 yards rushing but what they dont understand is did he help out the teams winning ways and yes they made the playoffs but they have to look at that henry helped UC to an undefeated season along with a state championship. Those accolades stand out when it comes to voting.

As expected Henry receives MVP for the district. I know some of the Lake Co. faithful will disagree; but it is what it is, and he is very deserving of the honor.

Henry is very derseving but I think you are mistaken on the MVP. Wilkes won that award. That is why Bowling was upset the week of the LC/UC playoff game.It really does not matter, Henry got the big prize.LC had 7 kids make all distrct and UC had 10 I think.

Actually he did win it. All district team was announced in the paper Henry won mvp jernigan was voted best o-lineman and cook best kicker. And we had I think 8 other uc players voted to all district. And from what understood is they just had voting tabulated I think earlier this week cause its usally done a few weeks after the season is over. Edited December 20, 2014 by JDOGG80
