B.Ballguru..you got them all right but one..Malik Stockdale should be the one represent Union City..He IS the LEADING SCORER AND REBOUNDER for that team..So why u say Deberry?

it was a toss up between the 2.... Both can be in the position its just I believe deberry has a better skill set ecspecially for his height but malik Stockdale is a heck of a player also with a high motor.

Stockdale could be a starting 2 guard for any other school but Sisco has him where he does because Deberry at 6'5 cant play the post while Stockdale at 6'1 is probably the best 6'1 post player ive seen but he is just as good any spot u put him..What ur saying doesn't make alot of sense.

.... When ss played uc first game of the year, the new kid went out and deberry stepped up at the point position. Deberry and Stockdale are both versatile but Stockdale is better down low in the post... Who recruits 6'1 post players??? Even if deberry was in the post, who recruits 6'5,6'6 post players??? Deberrys is 6'6 and has better guard skills than some one that is a little over 6 feet, and you call me crazy? They both are fairly good players on the Single A level but deberry is a overall better prospect. That doesn't knock anything that Stockdale does but I will go with Marcus deberry and that's my opinion. Seems like you don't like deberry that much do you? Edited December 7, 2014 by bballguru1

Yes I love that kid..He does great things but a point guard he is not..Stockdale is just as good their at the point and 2 guard but you CAN'T move him out of the post because he is just to good their! Deberry almost shot Union City out of the game against Cordova last night from what I heard and Stockdale once again stepped up to the plate and poured in 25 points and shot half the shots Deberry did!!..Facts are Facts! Numbers don't lie but it is what it is!!.I just believe if a kid deserves the honor then give it to him..no matter how tall u are..I take it u dont like Stockdale much do you?

if you could clearly read I said they both can be in this position. Your opinion is Stockdale and mine is deberry.. Did I say deberry was a point guard? heck No.... I said he stepped in at point and I did say that deberry has a better skill set than Stockdale and if you knew basketball then you would clearly see that.. Stockdale is one of the few kids in the stat that fills up a stat sheet and that's uncommon now in high school basketball but who shoots better?? Deberry.. Who dribbles better?? Deberry...Stockdale gets puts backs and dump offs and that is how he leads in scoring. Stockdale is like a short, poor mans Alex poythress from Kentucky, he gets his own buckets from putbacks and dump offs and that's his job. He can stroke it a little but not good enough to be a legit 2 guard. And if you want to get real about things.. I can easily put Mitchell's point guard Naba Echols ( Mvp of state last year) over both of these guys, top 2 point guard in single A with Zy Moore.
