I like this rule. You don't see officials in the paper or on TV blasting a coach for poor coaching decisions.

Except bad coaches are fired for not winning- keep officiating but do us all a favor and learn the rules.

If you are calling me an official them let me set the record straight. I am not. I make my bad calls from the stands.

I see more problems a lot of the time with the clock operators than anything. I watched a kid go out of bounds and the clock didn't stop in the Maryville and Oakland game and no one said a thing from Oakland. It was their field and I couldn't blame the coach for not jumping someones tail but nothing was said.  I also see a so many game the clock keeps ticking four or five seconds after the play is called dead. That person should have to be sharp as a tack to operate the clock and not given to someone that is ready to be put out to pasture.

Prove it. I know several officials and they are never held accountable and are never graded. Closest thing to that is hc rank them each year which is garbage too. If they are held accountable then the results should be made public. Like I said prove it.

One of the head officials lives in Gallatin and he in fact does go to the games and grades them. So it does happen.

Not really proof- If he is actually grading them without watching a film of the game then that is pointless there is no way he can watch all six live. Again if true that only applies to one association- the Tssaa has no policy for holding officials accountable or grading.
