District 4-AA vs District 3-AA

Still early but how do these 2 districts stack up so far?

Based on what I have read in paper Carter is the dominate team. Although playing a weak schedule this far scores have been impressive.

 

After that a mixed bag but these teams may be playing for second in region. CAK can they replace point guard. But well coach and have some talent. Alcoa as always. Football athletes come along they will be a force. Catholic has young talent but may be a year away. Fulton impressive win over AE with only a week of practic with footballers . AE young but will make some noise as always.

 

But when it's all said and done Carter has the most talent by far and that run and gun wears teams down. Everyone else imo is playing for second in region.

Right now, 3AA is stronger.  Carter, Fulton and AE are all having good seasons.

Carter won't beat fulton late in the season fulton had just as much talent and Jody preaches defense... If you have watched carter all year you would see that they play absolutely ZERO defense... And fulton will get in them defensively like no one has done all year...

Stick to what you know...........nothing.........Fulton had more talent last year and Carter beat Fulton late in the year holding Fulton to 63 pts. in the District tournament where all teams are peaking!!!!  63 pts. sounds like defense to me....

Norm go easy on those Fulton guys...they all think that if you wear a travel suit, bluetooth in your ear and yell closeout, that makes them knowledgeable enough to spout ignorance on this public forum!?  Fulton is still playing on the past where the bench was made up of talented transfers and not what was walking the halls being developed....speaking of HALLS........FHSALUM...where was that "get in them defensively" the other night at lil' ol Halls....Moore out coached Wright and Fulton laid an egg....

LOL your right 121 given up to hva looks like a lot of defense to me and last year happened fulton slipped up late... I've played in games when carter had monsters and we destroyed them so let's not talk about the past... And 63 points in high school is still not great defense that's average If you want to talk numbers... Just wait and see the same player leading your team in scoring now is the same player that was on that team that lost in the district to carter last year... Carter is good don't get me wrong but wait till you play someone tough before you book your trip to murfeesboro... Jody has been doing this for a while now...

Anybody who is knowledgeable knows it's hard to get a win at halls the same halls team gave Oak Ridge its toughest game losing to them by 2 points... OR is the best team east of nashville and it's not even close... So halls is a pretty tough bunch plus this was only our 3rd game of the season because we had 8 varsity players on the state championship football team... No other team in the state can say that so give it time our boys will be okay...

Uptempo was u at the halls fulton game? If not u really don't know what happened. According to my pals at the breakfast bunch at chil fila (2 were at the game). Fulton played poorly let halls hang around and fulton got hosed by the officials on a call that put Halls best player on the ft line to win it. Which he did. Halls did same thing at OR just didn't .

How can anyone imply Jodie Wright is not a good coach. 2 state championships, 2 runners ups, andaybe 20 state tournaments. Hall of Famer np doubt.

 

Now for Carter. Best team in knox county and most likely 2nd best in E. Tn to OR. They had great talent last year and maybe more this year. The problem with Carter is their weal schedule. No Bearden, no Oak Ridge, no Maryville etc... Only time will tell if coach at Carter can build a program that is as feared as Fultons. But if Carter doesn't toughen up their schedule regardless how good they won't be respected.

 

If Carter doesn't get to Murfreesboro with their great talent. Which includes transfers as well. It will be the biggest choke job ever in E Tn basketball history. Let's see how well they handle being top dog with no where to go except down.

Well to quote you, "jody preaches defense"....he gave up 70 to Carter in the district tournament then loses to Austin east in the consolation bracket....want more numbers...Fulton goes to CAK and is held to 42 points by a better coached private school team with inferior but more disciplined players...FHSALUM12....let it go.....you are out of your league knowledge and grammatically......I do agree with you about one thing concerning Halls....they are tough because they are better coached and Coach Moore's kids play hard for him....a sign of respect and good coaching!!!
