top teams in east tn this year ?

Trying to get back into watching some high school baseball...who to watch ? How is DB this year ?

In the Chattanooga area, d2 McCallie will be good again. Should have a chance to repeat in D2. I AAA, look out for Soddy Daisy and Bradley. Both return some quality players. Look for East Hamilton to sneak in there by the end of the year. In AA, Central will be hands down picked to be the cream of the crop in Chattanooga. Return 8 of 9 starters with a deep pitching staff. In A, Boyd Buchanan will once again make it to the Boro. Very deep in pitching and returning players. Should be a promising year for Chattanooga baseball.

Harrisonhellcat told you the teams in Chattanooga...Ooltewah will be interesting as well....as far as East kingindian33, Grace Christian may be pre-season #1 in Class A and South Pittsburg will have a serious shot at the Boro in 2015

Ooltewah lost a ton of talent! They are in a total rebuild. I see them finishing in the middle of the pack in their district. Not real sure about South Pitt. I know they have a lefty that is a pretty good pitcher.

DOWN MY WAY ROCKWOOD IS GOING TO BE YOUNG PROB A FEW YEARS AWAY FROM BEING LIKE THE OLD ROCKWOOD GOT A LOT OF YOUNG TALENT BUT STILL HAVE THE TALL KID WHO CAN MATCH UP WITH JUST ABOUT ANY1 ON THE MOUND...

 

HARRIMAN IS GOING TO BE DOWN FOR AWHILE IM AFRAID JUST NOT A LOT OF GOOD BASEBALL TALENT IN THERE RIGHT NOW FROM WHAT I HEAR THE PITCHING IS A LONG WAY OFF FROM WHAT IT USED TO BE JUST DONT HAVE THEM GOOD ARMS LIKE THEY USED 2.

 

GRACE IS GOING TO BE GRACE LOSE KIDS AND GET BETTER ONES COME IN PROB WILL BE A EASY DIST FOR THEM THIS YEAR WITH ROCKWOOD AND HARRIMAN DOWN.

I didnt say Ooltewah would be good I said interesting with the coaching pairing that they have now, curious to see how they develop this young group this year...as far as SP their best pitcher is a righty, the lefty is very good as well.

Coach Caldwell and Coach Hitch will work well together. Both are established winners. Gonna be a very interesting year. Hope to see at least 3-4 area teams represented in the Boro!

I don't think East Hamiliton will sneak in there at the end. I think they will lead the pack from the get go! Lot's of quality pitching

I'll go out on a limb and say Farragut will be pretty good in ET.

Ooltewah lost a few but have many good younger ones.  Duncan, Robertson, Collins.  They are actually pretty strong.  Fugate was a big loss for sure.

They are good players, but they play in a tough district. They still lack the dominant starting pitching. Not a Ooltewah fan by any stretch. Frigate was their ace last year and a great kid. Losing him and Binder will be hard to replace. Hayden is a heckuva player also. I don't see Duncan, Collins and CJ mowing down people like the past pitching staffs did. This is by far the least talented team they have had in years. Folks, they have been loaded. Just my opinion.
