Metro coaches fired, Why?

Maybe someone can explain Metro football coaches being fired. Principals even know what they are doing? Most not qualified to know a good coach or hire a new one. What you think? 3 fired, Antioch,Whites Creek, and Cane Ridge?

Antioch fired a coach with a losing record. I have a lot of respect for peden and think he is a good coach but if you don't win you are out. Some admin only look at the wins and losses. Whites creek has not won a game in two years. Enough said there. Of the three parks at CR seems to be the one that might not make sense. No idea why he was fired but obviously he didn't meet expectations on some level. This happens all the time. Look at Brentwood. They fired Woodward and anyone that knows football knows he was screwed. All three coaches will find a job for next year. Good luck to them.

It was actually four. Stratford fired their coach also.

Just looked up records. Peden was 3-7 and 5-6. You see improvement there. Might should have gotten one more year. Might be better for him that he didn't. Parks was 8-3, 6-5, and 5-6. Winning record but went down each year.Stratford was 4-16 and WC 0-20 . Out of the four peden and parks probably should have gotten a year. Not sure why they didn't. If I'm CR I call Woodward but I'm guessing DA probably has best shot.

Well the principal at Cane Ridge doesn't know anything about sports.  The issue there is personalities that don't blend, you're not liked, so you have to go.  I'm sure it's a blessing not to be coaching there anymore.  Parks will get something somewhere.

I wonder what the real reason was. I wonder what they told parks. I'm sure the two are different.

Who waits two months to fire their coach? Probably the best job in metro and they waited so late to make the decision. Makes no sense!

Right now best jobs in metro would be hillsboro, Overton, and mcgavock. In those three schools you have principals that understand athletics and have at least some control over discipline.

Well if that is the case, then Mcgavock's principal should give his better-half at Cane Ridge some advice.  It doesn't matter, Hillsboro is the only school with a chance at ever succeeding outside of Metro anyway.

Not true. Overton also has success outside of metro in most sports.
