Tryouts for the 2015 spring and summer season is almost upon us. Tryouts for the Tennessee rush basketball program will be February 28th for the 3rd through 8th grade girls. I will post times on here soon. You can also follow the website at www.tennesseerush.webs.com. Recent accomplishments for the Tennessee rush program includes competitive teams at the division 1 AAU state level, state championships and runner ups in the pat few years in several age groups in both AAU division 2 and YBOA division 1. Please check out our website for more information on what we are all about and consider joining the elite AAU basketball program in the upper Cumberland. Tennessee Rush Tryouts for Grades 3-8 will be Saturday Feb. 28, 2015 at Livingston Baptist Church in Livingston, TN!!! The times for those tryouts are as follows: 

 
3rd Grade girls: 12-1 PM
4th Grade girls: 10-11 AM
5th Grade girls: 10-11 AM
6th Grade girls: 11-12 PM
7th Grade girls: 11-12 PM
8th Grade girls: 12-1 PM

Due to the winter storm that has effected our area and the delaying of many junior high and high school tournaments, we are going to postpone the Tennessee Rush Basketball tryouts by ONE DAY. All junior high tournaments should end on Feb. 28 with girls high school substates also being that day so we will have tryouts for GRADES 3-8 in girls on SUNDAY, MARCH 1ST, 2015.

Tryout times are as follows:

 

3rd grade girls: 2:15-3:30 PM

4th grade girls: 1-2:15 PM

5th grade girls: 1-2:15 PM

6th grade girls: 2:15-3:30 PM

7th grade girls: 3:30-4:45 PM

8th grade girls: 3:30-4:45 PM

      I used to think like that many many moons ago.  I wondered the same questions but learned that it is just not that easy.  Hiring assistant coaches can be complicated at times.  It takes a few years for HC’s to get who they feel is right for their system.  Couple that with good assistant coaches getting better jobs at times and leaving your program. More to it than some think.  I think you have a good coach up there and time will tell that story.

      You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.

      I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.
