blazer1set
SH will smoke everyone in the tri-cities but then get a reality check against some of the knox area teams, so pretty much the same as last year. DB may give you a good game but its hard to say until the season starts.

DB may give you a good game but its hard to say until the season starts. On paper DB will be much improved. A new coach on the defense side will help DB no matter who it is. On the field Science Hill loses 75% of their offense. I KNOW I KNOW, SH, has some good players coming back. But nobody even in the same zip code as McGue. I think things get back to normal in upper east tn. this year. I don't really see any of the Knoxville area teams beating DB or Science Hill. blazer1set
Early congratulations to DB on a 10-0 regular season
SGHSAlum93
Lets slow down on the DB 10-0 season and the Science Hill not having trouble… DB plays a very good Oak Ridge team, both play Maryville, Bradley Central who has a dynamite QB, and a Hardin Valley & Bearden team that has no where to go but up. Gone are the days where each school plays 9 games where they have superior talent and way better coaching. Not saying they won't win some games, but there isn't a whole lot of Volunteers, Centrals, and Davy Crocketts anymore.

WaCoJaCo
"Knoxville area teams" as defined by me. Teams at least in Knox Co. That are on the schedule. It seems some people think that any team from Morristown to Chattanooga are "Knoxville area teams"
WaCoJaCo
Early congratulations to DB on a 10-0 regular season I didn't even hint that DB would go 10-0. It was just my response for you saying Science Hill would smoke everybody in the Tri-Cities. And I don't see that happening.
blazer1set
oopsie, I misunderstood the quote: "I don't really see any of the Knoxville area teams beating DB or Science Hill." So you are predicting 7-0 against the Knox area teams listed below but losses to one or more of: Tenn High, Jeff Co, Science Hill??? I could see maybe losing to the Hill but TH and JC? DB 2015 schedule Knox area? Aug 21 @ Tenn High No Aug 28 Oak Ridge Yes Sep 4 @ William Blount Yes Sep 11 @ Sevier Co Yes Sep 18 Hardin Valley Yes Sep 25 OPEN Oct 2 @ Maryville Yes Oct 9 Bradley Central Yes Oct 16 Knox Bearden Yes Oct 23 @ Jefferson Co No Oct 30 Science Hill No

It was very similar to the new conference starting this year with the exception of Maryville. DB and Science Hill were part of the Big East. I think DB won the Big East every year except one. But like I said, there was no Maryville. But still I don't see any reason that DB and Science Hill can't compete for second place in the new conference most years. blazer1set
cut-n-paste didn't work too well above, should have been: DB 2015 sched: Knox area: Aug 21 @ Tenn High NoAug 28 Oak Ridge YesSep 4 @ W Blount YesSep 11 @ Sevier Co YesSep 18 Hardin Valley YesSep 25 OPEN Oct 2 @ Maryville YesOct 9 Bradley Central YesOct 16 Knox Bearden YesOct 23 @ Jefferson Co NoOct 30 Science Hill No

I guess considering "Knoxville area" is not a "official area" on any map and is just a made up deal anyway, we could include the entire United States as "Knoxville area". So I guess your right.
