District 11A and 12A predictions?

What are these teams expectations? Who has the best teams returning?

Not sure at all. I know Summertown will probably be weaker. Should still have some good pitching, but have lost some hitting, unless young players step it up from summer ball

Strength of the region is probably on the 12A side with Summertown and Loretto.  In 11A don't think anyone will be overpowering. Richland was young and should be better.  Cornersville will be decent with Looney on the mound but not sure how much is behind him.  Mt. Pleasant should be better. Not sure about Cully. Santa Fe and Hampshire are probaly at the bottom. CA has to replace some guys but they are always in it. Found this about them on TNBaseballReport.com

PLAYERS TO WATCH IN 2015

TEAM OUTLOOK:
CA will have to fill a lot of positions in 2015. The team loses 6 starters and the top 4 pitchers from a 22-12 record in 2014 and a sectional appearance. The team returns very little experience. Jr. Scott Lentz, Jr. Billy Thurman, Sr. Blake Luna, Soph. Noah Brock, Soph. Price Martin, and Jr. Jackson Scott are the only returning players who saw action a year ago. Team speed will be a weakness. The strength of the team will be its discipline and defense. 
     The team has many young talented players that will have to step up and contribute in the lineup this season. Defensively, the team has 12-13 players who will compete to be on the field. The catcher has started since his 8th grade year. The left side of the infield is very sound.  Several people will have to compete and win 2B and 1B. The most experience comes in the outfield. 3 players saw some playing time a year ago but will have to win the spot because there are several young players who will fight for the position.  
     CA has many arms that could see the mound this season. No pitcher is overpowering but will have 12-13 arms to choose from. All the pitchers will throw strikes and trust their defense. 
     CA will be extremely young and inexperienced team this season. 13 out of 24 players are underclassmen. New head coach Richie Estep is working hard to develop a strong work ethic and care about the sport. We will be obsessed with the little things and doing things the right way.

Who will be 1 and 2 pitchers this year for each team? For summertown, it should be Beard and possibly Ambrose, or vice versa. Several other talented arms though that could contest.

Summertown lost 5 starters from last seasons team. Matthews and Morrison were 2 losses that hurt in pitching. but Summertown should be very deep and good there. Unfortunately lost a very important piece of the pitching corp as well..Won't go into that, but have some very good pitching behind the 2 I named above. Hitting power is the area I'm worried we lost too much of for a deep run, but speed should be better. so a little small ball may play bigger in the game this season. Never know how the good lord will bless you season to season with underclassmen though. Hopefully some of the young ones have packed on some strength.

  With the pitching depth,  it should turn out to be a good season. 2 seasons ago, that's what gave us our deep state tourney run.

With the way the district games are set up you better have pitching and a lot of it.  Double headers on Monday then play again on Tuesday, so three district games in two days.

If you have a solid pitching staff, it will make the difference since Redtang posted that teams will have 3 games in 2 days

Not a fan of 3 district games in two days, first time I've heard of that.
