With softball season right around the corner, who would be everyone's favorite in single a to make it to Murfreesboro this year.

Will Forrest be the favorite in 9a

My guess is a 3 way race between Forrest, Moore County, and Huntland. Huntland lost 2 starters and their coach. I know Moore County lost their coach and Bateman, not sure who else graduated. Have no idea what Forrest lost.

Forrest should be good.  CA should contend again.  Loretto should be strong.  Summertown should be also.  Wayne Co Pitcher is back.  Mid Tn Christian will be ok.  Not sure about Richland this year.  Middle Tn in single A will be really competitive

Best I can remember when we played Forrest in substate last year they were pretty young. They should be solid.

Richland lost some very good players to graduation, so not sure how they will look.

What happened to Goodpasture? I've never seen a team/program fall off the map so quick. 2 years ago they were one if the best programs in the state in ANY classification and this was consistent for over 10-15 years.

 

Can some of the GP people in the know fill us in?

Couldn't agree more. District 9A is improving. I believe overlooking any school could result in a loss within 9A.

Not a GP person but I know several.  From what I've heard they are VERY young.  Mostly Soph., Freshman and 8th graders. Give them another year and they'll be back up there!

I do believe they lost one of the best pitchers in the state.  That should be enough I'm sure.
