Van Buren junior Bouldin scores 2000

Just a post to congratulate Van Buren junior Lakelyn Bouldin on scoring her 2,000th point Friday night against Monterey. That is a huge accomplishment and I'm sure she will score many more. Congratulations from all Van Buren county fans.

She's a special player no doubt i've seen her play a few times and she is the real deal, wasn't she playing as an 8th grader?

yes uc she started in the 8th grade.she is getting some pretty big looks from colleges.

If I remember correctly her first game starting for the high school as an eighth grader she scored 34 points or something like that, didn't she?

She is a special player, I have seen her once against JC this year and once last year.  She is a standout.    Van Buren is lucky to have her.  It seems as though they are having a good year but would be nothing without her, she carries that team and remember they are in the weakest district in Single A ball.  When it counts she can't carry that team to state no supporting cast.

 

Congratulations on 2,000 to her what an accomplishment.  Can't wait to see how she ends her career and where she goes to play at the next level.  Hope she stays healthy.

saw her play twice this year the other night she score 27 point and play three fourth of the game they had her playing inside some the other night she can play inside or outside she can do it all she pass up numbers of open shoots the other night to make her team mates look good she a team player no doubt as good as I every saw as a team player
