Meigs vs Harriman Back 2 Back

Thought I would start up a little trash talk. Now that Harriman got handled by Grace twice the Devils can get ready to chalk up 2 more losses to Meigs starting this Friday in Harriman and then at Meigs four days later. Just wishful thinking from a Tiger fan. Harriman did look a lot better that first half up at Grace and responded well after that beating they took at home a week earlier. They responded well and deserve a little credit. Lets see how they come out against the Tigers on Friday night.

Tiger2, didn't your mama ever teach you not to kick a good man while he was down  ? However as far as this series goes, I look forward to it! There' still alot at stake and Harriman has alot they need to prove if they want to hush the nay sayers and prove what they're capable of. It comes down tomorrow night to having a little pride. Coming off a butt kicking how do you respond on your floor for your seniors last regular season home game?  If there's one thing I know about athletics at Harriman, it's that pride goes a long way! We'll see if those boys have it tomorrow night against a good Meigs team!

Well game 1 in the books, the Tigers took it to Harriman tonight 80-59 , the big kid inside for Harriman was a beast in the first half but didn't get as many touches against the zone in the second half! Meigs played pretty good and had nice ball movement throughout, nice to see for a change! Still a lot of missed shots around the rim, but the 3 ball was falling pretty good! Play again Tuesday at Meigs hope the Tigers can contain the big guy a little sooner than tonight! Go Tigers!!

The Gresham kid played phenomenal. We couldnt keep him off the boards. As for the rest of the team they looked very unimpressive. Last home game and they just looked like they didnt play with any heart. It could have been a lot worse if we didnt play our bench. The fans did not even cheer when they took the seniors out even for Gresham who was the best post player we have seen all year in the district.

Gresham is a hard working kid. He's had to work through alot of adversity with that knee and I was glad to see him have a strong senior night! When he's on and playing his game, there isn't a post in this district that can consistently stop him. Consistency is key though. They really need a big game from Pace and Gresham tonight if they're going to come to Decatur and take one from Meigs.
