Mondo,. Siegel has good size on O line . QB #7 is accurate and spreads the ball around. Receivers  #6, #2 ( plays slot ) and #8 have good speed. All can take it the distance. Backs #4 and #28 are hard runners, not big or extremely fast; but fast enough They like to throw the ball out of the spread; and use check down across the middle. Use backs to keep D honest and run a lot of QB reads.

Their defense flies to the ball. Secondary is probably their strength due to athletes. Have about 4 skill players that play both ways. D line is very aggressive. Can get them to jump off sides. D seems solid.

Should be a pretty good team this year. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Will return the favor in the fall as we scrimmage Antioch and you play them in the regular season

Thanks BKisler, Siegel yearly has one of the best offenses around so no surprise about all their weapons How did the Bears do against them?

Mondo; Stars reminded me a little of the team that went to semi's  in 2012. They should be a good team after a couple of down years.

MJ lost 4-3. Starters lost 2-0 and 2 string + won 3-2. Siegel had a couple of big plays and has several that can take it the distance. MJ just lacks the speed of a game breaker. Power running game was good with Jackson #28 carrying the load. MJ has much better size on the O line this year. QB's didn't ever seem to settle in for MJ.

Any word on how Wilson Central's spring practice went and what to expect out of the Wildcats? I did hear they didn't fair to well vs Blackman. I dont know if they had players out due to injuries or baseball.

WCP ... any news ?

    • Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart.
    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
