2015 PGF ACADEMIC SHOWCASE CAMP
FOR STRONG ACADEMIC COLLEGE SOFTBALL PROSPECTS
TOP NOTCH SCHOOLS, TOP FLIGHT INSTRUCTION!
EVENT FILLING QUICKLY-OVER HALF FULL!

Are you are a talented fastpitch player who also performs well in the classroom and would you like to be recruited by highly regarded, outstanding colleges and universities that can challenge you both athletically and academically? Then you need to consider attending the 2015 PGF Academic Showcase Camp. This event will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2015 in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee.

All attendees must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and a minimum score of 25 or higher on the ACT (if they have taken the ACT- having taken the ACT is not a requirement for attending the Camp since some players have not yet taken the test).

Some of the finest schools in the country will be on hand to staff this Showcase Camp and get a hands-on look at the highly academic softball talent that participates in the event. Colleges from eight states have already committed, including:

Sewanee, The University of the South (Sewanee, TN)
 Emory University (Atlanta, GA)
 Belmont University (Nashville, TN)
 Rhodes College (Memphis, TN)
 North Park University (Chicago, IL)
 Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, GA)
 Centre College (Danville, KY)
 Berry College (Rome, GA)
 Millsaps College (Jackson, MS)
 Salem College (Winston-Salem, NC)
 Maryville College (Maryville, TN)
 Hendrix College (Conway, AR)
Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA)
 Wesleyan College (Macon, GA)
 Transylvania University (Lexington, KY)
 Spalding University (Louisville, KY)
 Averett University (Danville, VA)

Several more schools will also be added in the coming weeks- the coaches have become extremely excited about this camp and many will be bringing multiple members from their staffs to fully observe all the prospects that attend!

If you want to get the best from both your collegiate softball experience and your collegiate academic experience, we strongly encourage you to consider this event as a springboard to recruitment by these high-level institutions. The Showcase Camp will include a full day of training with INSTRUCTION FROM THE COLLEGE COACHING STAFF as well as TWO SCRIMMAGE GAMES WITH THE COLLEGE COACHES RUNNING THE GAMES.

The 2015 PGF Academic Showcase Camp will be limited is size to keep a tremendous ratio of coaches to players, so don't miss out on your chance to attend THE ONLY SOFTBALL CAMP FOR HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS HELD IN THE SOUTHEAST IN 2015. All of our previous camps have been sold out well in advance and we fully anticipate this one to do so as well.

Registration is well underway with OVER HALF of the available spots taken. Player prospects are currently registered from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Please do not delay on this one if you want to attend, you could find yourself on the wait-list.

    • I lived through the Hammontree era with my sons. His 10 year tenure at Heritage was way too long. That is the most hard headed, egotistical man I have ever met. He ridiculed players and degraded repeatedly. He ran off some good young coaches that loved Heritage but couldn’t work for him. I do know what I’m talking about and it’s not hearsay, I lived it.
    • HVA is a dump and will never be good at football. It's a baseball school. Look at the types of homes being built and families moving in. Not football families. People will move in and look at the school and choose to play for another program. This issue has been snow balling for a decade now
    • Also no shot at an indoor facility it took ya'll almost a decade just to turf blankenship
    • You will not be able to replace Dozier he was a stud and wasted for years. Heyward started strong and then fell of but he will be missed still Rembert could fly and was also underused. Not being replaced. Track has started to close the gap with football. It does not help that the current AD is just stealing money(collecting his check) while the assistant AD is a XC/Track guy who always hated football. Current AD is too worried about not hurting anyone's feelings to do anything at all. Heck he is gotta be 70 plus and looks like a fool wearing kid shoes
    • Will Trez remain 2A after the influx of another 2A school?
