I paid close attention to that myself when I started watching the 4a region in my poor attempt to scout and seems like it's legit. The boy has been there all season at the school from what I hear. He came from Hendersonville though not white house. He started playing the game I went to watch them back at the start of Feb though not just in tourney. It kind of rubbed me the wrong way when I heard about it til I got details. His last day of play at his old school was start of Feb last year so he was eligible start of Feb this season it seems. Don't seem like anything wrong with this situation.

We moved to outside of Chatt a couple years back from Gallatin so we dealt with the private thing a lot but I don't think anything is fishy here but I could be wrong. I looked into putting my boy in Good Pasture several years back and I can vouch they don't offer anything. If a kid is there they are sure paying for it so I don't think they do some of the same things some of the others might but could be wrong about that too.

I watched him play a jv game this season and he had 28 rebounds. His name is Sean or Sam don't hold me to which. From what I remember he is not overly tall or big but plays the 4 I think. But he can rebound like he is 6'7". He gives em a guy to take the load off that kid from Cookeville I'd say. Speaking of him he did not have a great game from what I'm hearing maybe 15 or so so I' the other fellas are stepping up it seems. I watch CR play twice this season and I think they are better than what the record shows. Chances they can keep it within single digits against clay?

I fully expect it to be a close game between park range and play kennyI fully expect it to be a close game between Clarkrange and Clay Co. I do believe the best four teams are left I think Jackson County will need to shoot the ball well in order to win which they are fully capable of doing and I think both games are very competitive.

I hate to admit this but more likely than not whatever 2 teams come outta 4a will probably be the 2 that make it to state cause I think the 4 left there would beat any combination of the ones we have left even whatever team has to travel. I think Jackson would have hardest time winning on road but any of the other 3 would probably be favored against the home team from here

I'm curious why you say Clarkrange would be able to have an easier time than Jackson County when JC has beaten CR every time they have played this year? Not disputing your opinion just wondering what you were basing it off of?

Really eye test more than anything. Everybody has their own opinions on what make a good team and I could be wrong about CR but I think they are way better than there record shows. For me at this point of the year it's PG play above anything. I like Jacksons PG but I really like CRs. And I think they are playing good at right time. I think clay has best PG I saw from that district though in my eyes. I could be more wrong then anybody on here but I would give CR a slightly and really only a slighty better chance on the road.

Why leave Gallatin? Great coach and facilities.

    • Began as a discussion, and evolved into a trainwreck...   Don't know how many of the TC "old guard" are left, but I feel for y'all.   Everybody has to get the last word... no matter the cost and sometimes the cost is high.
    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
    • Danny Wilson is the only one that come's to mind but I don't know where he is at now.
    • I am pro coach all day long but there are some knucklehead hires for sure.
