Maryville vs. Dobyns-Bennett Sectional Game

Looking forward to a great game and a great atmosphere at MHS tomorrow night. I have been fortunate to attend sectional games involving MHS at home vs. Greeneville in 2003 and at Science Hill in 2007, 2012, and 2013. On each occasion, the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying........very similar to the atmosphere at Oak Ridge this past weekend.

 

Already pumped about watching the game tomorrow night. IMO, it doesn't get much better than a sectional elimination high school basketball game with a packed house.

How big of a band do they bring for basketball? We don't have a fancy dome.

I don't think their pep band follows the basketball team on the road. Certainly not that I've seen.

There probably wouldn't be room for them anyway at the "Jim of Gyms." That place will be packed!

This DB fan is looking forward to the game and a great atmosphere! I know there will be plenty of maroon and grey there.

 

I saw Maryville earlier this year, and they are solid. I have not seen DB, so I only know what I have read about them.

 

Should be a fun game.
